I do competition BBQ and cook often fro my family at home .8 am training my young son to check temps, and he was able to check the chicken temperature on the big BBQ pit. If you’re like me, there is always a lot going on when you cook and the magnet function allows me to place the thermometer close and keep it nearby at all times!!
